” Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.”

Enjoyed reading your post! Using my imagination to think of new ways to play when I was younger was so very enjoyable was I was younger. I also
enjoyed my dolls and the time I spent alone was great. I had 7 siblings
and don`t get me worng I enjoyed playing with them and the many creative
things we came up with, but playing with my dolls was my favorite past time.Climbing trees and reading a book was also my alone time.If only “play” was the same as it was when we were younger.
